How the challenge works
StonkProp is a prop-trading challenge on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). You hold one of 777 account NFTs, trade a virtual account against Chainlink stock feeds under FTMO-style rules, and pass two phases to get funded. Funded accounts keep trading and take a share of a cbBTC pool at each weekly settlement. The rules below are calibrated on real market data so that roughly one account in ten gets funded.
The account
Every account NFT carries a virtual $5,000 per tier. The money is not real: profit and loss are tracked in USD with 8 decimals of fixed point by the rule engine. What is real is the cbBTC a funded account can claim once an epoch settles.
Getting one
All 777 accounts were unlocked at launch, so there is no mint left to catch. They trade on the open market: buy one on OpenSea and it is yours the moment the sale settles. Connect the same wallet to the terminal and the desk picks the account up from the chain. Every secondary sale pays a 5% royalty to the treasury, declared on chain through ERC-2981.
An NFT carries its history with it. A Fresh account has never traded and can still be merged; an Active, Funded, Dead or Expired one is exactly where its previous owner left it, rules and drawdown included. Read the status before you bid.
Two phases
Phase 1 ends when equity reaches +10% of the phase base (a $5,000 account must reach $5,500). Phase 2 then requires +5% of the new base ($5,500 to $5,775 on a tier-1 account). Pass both and the account is Funded.
Getting funded
Funded is not the finish line, it is the product. Passing phase 2 does not close the account:
- Balance, equity, phase base and high-water mark all reset to the account's base size (tier x $5,000) and the daily lock clears. The evaluation profit is not paid out. It was the exam.
- The account keeps trading under the same trailing drawdown and the same daily loss lock, now measured against the funded base.
- A funded account does not expire. The 30-day clock is gone. Only a rule break ends it, and a rule break still kills it for good.
- At each weekly epoch close, profit above the funded base is that account's claim basis, and the balance resets to base. Profit is withdrawn the way a prop desk withdraws it. A funded account with no profit that week simply carries on.
Trailing drawdown
Equity may never fall more than 8% below its high-water mark. The floor trails upward as you set new equity highs, but never rises above the phase base. Touch the floor and the account is blown: Dead, permanently.
Daily loss lock
Losing 5% versus the day-start equity closes your positions and locks the account until the next UTC day. The account survives, the trading day does not.
Fees and leverage
A virtual taker fee of 2.5 bps (0.025%) of notional per side applies to every fill, so a round trip costs 5 bps of notional. Leverage runs up to 100x. At 100x a round trip costs 5% of the whole account, which is exactly the point: nothing here rewards churn, and reckless churn feeds the floor.
Expiry
The clock starts at your first accepted order and runs 30 calendar days. An account that has not been funded by then is Expired. Once funded, the clock stops mattering: funded accounts never expire.
Oracle gating and next-tick fills
Stocks are tradable only while the Chainlink oracle is fresh and the market is open (NYSE regular hours). Orders never fill at the price you see: every order fills at the next oracle tick after placement. There is nothing to snipe.
Tiers and merging
One NFT is tier 1, a $5,000 account. Locking 2 to 5 fresh tier-1 NFTs burns them and mints one merged account of tier N, worth N x $5,000, up to the hard cap of tier 5 ($25,000). Only never-traded (Fresh) tier-1 NFTs can merge. The cap is not arbitrary: each account's weekly claim is capped at 10% of the epoch pool, so beyond $25,000 extra size buys nothing.
The weekly payout
Every week is an epoch. The prize pool is funded by the coin's creator fees: once $STONKPROP is trading, 35% of every fee harvest is swapped to cbBTC and sent to the PrizePool contract on a cooldown. Before the coin launches there are no fees to harvest, so the pool starts empty. At the close, the epoch total is the pool's free balance, and it splits two ways.
- 30% of the epoch total goes to the BurnerVault as an ordinary leaf in the same merkle tree. The vault claims its cbBTC like any other claimant, swaps it to $STONKPROP and sends it to the dead address. That is the buyback and burn.
- 70% of the epoch total is distributed to the funded accounts that made a profit that epoch, pro-rata by that profit. Your claim basis is your profit above your funded base; the larger your basis relative to everyone else's, the larger your slice.
- No account may take more than 10% of the epoch total, however well it traded. The cap exists because pure pro-rata by profit is hedgeable: one long account and one short account would otherwise manufacture unbounded profit on whichever side won. Cap overflow and rounding dust roll into the next epoch.
Read this part twice, because it is the difference between a prop desk and a promise nobody can keep. Nobody is ever owed their PnL. Your claim is a share of the week's pool, proportional to what you made, and the pool only ever pays what it holds. The sum of all leaves, the burner leaf included, never exceeds the epoch total. Winnings post as a merkle root on the PrizePool contract and are claimed on-chain, once per epoch per address.
Coin holder rewards
You do not have to trade to earn from the machine. 15% of every fee harvest is swapped to cbBTC and sent to the HolderPool, which pays $STONKPROP holders on its own clock.
- Hold at least 1.5% of total supply. Supply is fixed at one billion tokens, so the line is 15,000,000 $STONKPROP.
- Hold it continuously for at least 24 hours before the snapshot. Dropping below the line at any point resets the clock, so a balance borrowed for one block earns nothing.
- A holder epoch closes every 25 hours, not 24, so the snapshot walks around the clock instead of landing at the same hour every day. Eligible wallets split that epoch pro-rata by balance, claimed against a merkle root exactly like a trader claim.
Plus the burn: 30% of every weekly trader payout comes back to buy $STONKPROP and destroy it. Two claims on the same fee stream, cbBTC in hand and supply going the other way.
Where the money comes from
Payouts come only from the fee pools. Tickets never fund payouts. The 777 tickets were sold to the treasury at launch and never touched the PrizePool, and neither does the 5% royalty on every secondary sale; the PrizePool contract has no owner withdrawal path for cbBTC at all, and the HolderPool is built the same way. The only way prize money leaves either pool is a claim against a posted merkle root.
Every fee harvest splits three ways and the destinations are immutable: 35% to the prize pool as cbBTC, 15% to the holder pool as cbBTC, 50% to the treasury as ETH. The two giveaway legs are bounded so they can only grow: the pool share can never fall below 35%, the holder share never below 15%, and the two together never exceed 80%.
